is there an easier basic way to learn

The best way to learn is to take a class. If you happen to be lucky enough to have friends who are really good dancers maybe they can teach you. Otherwise find out what style of salsa is dominant in your area (ie New York Style, LA Style, Cuban style, Miami Style, Colombian style) and then find someone who teaches that style.

One way to be sure you find a good teacher is to go to a club, watch the dancers and ask the dancers that you think dance the best where they learned. They can probably help you find a teacher.

And just forget feeling uncomfortable. Everyone is a beginner at first. No one is "born with it". Once you get started you’ll be glad you did!

This is an advanced Cuban combo for the experienced salsa dancer looking for new moves.
